A LONG BUMPY RIDE

However glossy the advertisement and polished the smiles of the staff of Royal Air Maroc, the flight more resembled a long bumpy busride. The food was absolutely great but of course I’d forgot to report my (ever questioned) vegetarianism so while my neighbours digged into delicious coucous meals that were dished up around me I looked upon them in awe as I chewed on a dry mini baguette. However, it was the hand luggage that delayed the flight simply because there was too much and it took an extra hour of luggage pushing, punching and squashing before we could take off. Then there was an extra stop in Niamey, Niger, which there was no information about in my itinerary. Sigh. Only to let people off and a new bunch to get on…Like a busstop…? I was confused. Switching seats and punching some more baggage in the middle of the night when everyone was trying to sleep was not popular. But all in all, seeing the ticket was almost half price compared to Air France, it was still worth it. So finally after a dragged out journey we arrived in Ouagadougou at 6am on 13th of December! YEAY!
